Rest Peacefully at Rainbow Bridge

Just on this side of heaven there is a place called Rainbows Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbows Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water, and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who have been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the loving eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbows Bridge together......

We would like to dedicate this page to a few loving pets we have lost.

Our greatest sympathies to Jordan and James on their tradgic loss of Oscar(Hollywood Nominee) in March. He will be sadly missed.

  1. Sugar(Go Hickorys Destiny AQHA#4336180) June 24, 2002-September 10, 2006 Even though Sugar was only with us a short time, she was a very loving, kind soul. She will be deeply missed. Sadly I don't have any pics on my computer to put on here, only snapshots.

     2. Jester(didn't get the chance to register him) June 21, 2006-March 3, 2007                   Jester was the colt from Sugar that year and because she was so sick we ended up losing him as well. He also had an injury that was not allowing him to recover. I know he was heart broken over his loss of his mother. Inevitably I think we knew he wouldn't be able to hold out. He was a beautiful, majestic colt! This colt would have been amazing!!! He was very sweet and brave! With only three legs he could cut ANYTHING you put infront of him. I hope he is now resting peacefully, painfree somewhere! We will meet again one day! We love you.

    3. Diesel(we didn't get a chance to registered this one either)  Febuary 7, 2007 - Febuary 20, 2007           Diesel would have been an amazing stud prospect! He had a very happy and good life before he died tragically. Rest peacefully little man.

4.Zip's baby colt born April 22, 2007. We regret to say he had a very short life with us. Bless his little heart, he had two back socks and a little blaze, cute BS prospect. Rest in peace "Buddy".
